Instructions for desiccant sampling
This website is dedicated to desiccant sampling analysis results performed by Plurifilter laboratories.You can find some instructions on how to take the samples here below.
Sampling shall be performed by skilled service technician and care needs to be taken that working/handling of desiccant dryer does not add any risk to the person performing the sampling.
L1, L2, R1, R2 are the sampling location positions – when standing in front of the desiccant dryer PLC area.

For sampling of desiccant in dryers models containing only one type of desiccant, 2 jars kit shall be used. Looking at the dryer with controller in front of you, please extract the media from the locations indicated on the icons (L2, R2).
For sampling of desiccant in dryers models containing 2 types of desiccant, 4 jars kit shall be used. Looking at the dryer with controller in front of you, please extract the media from the locations indicated on the icons (L1, L2, R1, R2).
Sampling procedure
- Extract each jar (the ones with the red lid) from its clear plastic container.
- From each sampling location take desiccant and put it in the correspondent small jar with the red lid (jar already includes a sticker with the sample location). The jar should be filled to the top.
- Immediately after sampling, the jar must be closed tightly with a lid and inserted in the bigger plastic container.
- After all the necessary jars have been filled, please register the sample kit on this website using the QR code. If you do not have a device capable of scanning with you, you can proceed by manually entering the kit identification code in the manual registration form (only for registered users).
- Put the samples in the provided transport bag and send it for analysis at the following address:
